对 + person/group + 来说，…
对…来说 gives the viewpoint of a person or group: 对我来说，汉字比语法难 'for me, characters are harder than grammar'. It usually opens the sentence, followed by a comma, and 来说 cannot be dropped. Don't confuse it with 对 + person + Adj (他对我很好 'he's good to me'), and don't use it to introduce a topic (use 关于). A more formal variant is 对于…来说.
