(连) A + 都/也 + …，何况 + B + (呢)？ | …，何况 + additional reason
何况 argues from a harder or more obvious case: if A is so, B is all the more so, 'let alone': 这个问题连老师都不会，何况我们呢？. The first clause often has 连…都/也, and the 何况 clause often ends in 呢 as a rhetorical question. Second use: 何况 adds a further reason, like 况且 'besides': 你去劝劝他吧，何况你说话他也听. In reading tasks, interpret 何况…呢 as a strong statement.
