随着 + N/phrase expressing change，S + V/Adj (changes accordingly)
随着 introduces a change that brings about another change: 随着经济的发展，人们的生活越来越好. It is usually followed by a noun phrase describing a process (…的发展, …的提高, …的增长, 时间的推移) or a short clause of change. The main clause must also describe change (越来越, 变得, 了起来…). The 随着 phrase usually opens the sentence and is very useful in HSK 5 essays.
