S + 越来越 + Adj / psychological verb (+ 了)
越来越 expresses a degree increasing over time: 天气越来越冷了 'it's getting colder and colder'. It is followed by an adjective or a psychological verb (喜欢, 想, 习惯…). Do not add 很, 非常 or 太 after it (*越来越很好), since it already expresses degree. A final 了 is common, stressing the change.
