Tips
- Underline the main verb and noun: 她每天早上都去跑步 → 跑步; 这件衣服太大了 → 衣服, 大.
- HSK 2 pictures often show actions and feelings (洗, 穿, 笑, 累, 生病). Look for the adjective that matches the face in the picture.
- Do the easy ones first, cross off pictures as you go, leave the hard one for last.
- For an unknown character, read the pinyin and guess from context — all sentences stay within the 300 HSK 2 words.
Common traps
- Sentences with two activities: 他一边吃饭一边看电视 or 吃完饭以后去散步 — the picture must fit the main activity, so read 以后 / 以前 carefully.
- Modifiers come before the noun: 妹妹的猫 is “my younger sister's cat”, the reverse of Vietnamese order — the focus is the cat, not the girl.
