- Read the six list sentences first and tag each: question, answer, cause or suggestion.
- Look for repeated or related words: 这件衣服 ↔ 衣服 / 颜色; 生病了 ↔ 医院 / 吃药; 天气不好 ↔ 下雨了 / 别出去.
- Check the logic of the pair: 你觉得这个菜怎么样？ goes with 很好吃 / 太辣了, not with 我已经吃饭了.
- Match the sure pairs first; the last one in each set falls out by elimination.

- Matching on a single shared word: two sentences with 电影 may be about showtime and about the film being good — check the relationship, not just the word.
- Pronouns must fit: 她 in a reply must refer to a woman in the other sentence; 它 is for animals and things.
