Match dialogues to pictures

Questions 11–15: six pictures A–F and five very short dialogues (two lines each, played twice). Match each dialogue to a picture; one picture is left over. Each dialogue takes about 15–20 seconds.

Tips
- Before the audio begins, name all six pictures in Chinese (e.g. 吃米饭, 打电话, 看书, 睡觉, 开车, 苹果). You will catch the key words much faster.
- The key information is usually in the reply (second line): 你在做什么？— 我在看书。→ the person reading.
- Each picture is used once: once chosen, cross it off mentally. If unsure, mark a provisional answer and use elimination at the end of the set.
- The question word tells you which kind of picture to look for: 喝什么？→ a drink, 去哪儿？→ a place, 几点？→ a clock.
Jebakan umum
- The reply corrects the question: 你喝茶吗？— 不，我喝水。The answer is the water, not the tea.
- The spare picture is often from the same topic as a correct one (two drinks, two vehicles) — wait for the exact noun before choosing.
