팁
- Read the four options first to guess the question: all places → where are they going; all times → what time; all actions → what will someone do.
- The question usually targets one speaker: 男的要做什麼? or 女的…? While listening, keep track of who says what (he suggests, she decides).
- The last turn usually decides the answer. Listen for changes of plan: 本來…可是/不過, 那…吧, 還是…好了. Example: 我們坐公車吧。—公車太慢了,還是坐捷運好了。 → they take the 捷運.
- Spoken Taiwanese Mandarin uses many sentence-final particles — 啦、喔、耶、吧. They add attitude but do not change the core meaning: 好啦 is agreement (sometimes reluctant), 不用啦 is a soft refusal.
- 有 + verb is very common in Taiwan: 你有吃早餐嗎? = did you have breakfast; 我有去 = I did go. Here 有 does not mean “to own”.
- If you are unsure, pick the most likely option at once and move on to the next question's options; the recording plays once, so stopping to think costs you the next question too.
자주 빠지는 함정
- Choosing the first piece of information you hear when the speaker changes their mind later (the 本來…後來 trap).
- Mixing up the speakers: the information is right but belongs to the other person (the question is about 女的 and you pick what 男的 does).
- Choosing the option with the exact words from the recording; the right answer is usually a paraphrase: you hear 我肚子餓了 → the answer is 想吃東西.
