HSKK Advanced · ការនិយាយ · សំណួរ 5–6

Questions 5–6: two discussion questions printed on the paper (society, education, work, technology, environment…); you prepare in the first 10 minutes, then answer each in about 2.5 minutes. Each is worth 25/100, 50 points in all — the heaviest part of HSKK Advanced. A strong answer runs about 300–400 characters, with a thesis, arguments, an example and a conclusion.

  • A 2.5-minute frame: thesis ~15 s (我认为…… / 在我看来……) → reason 1 ~35 s (首先……) → reason 2 ~35 s (其次……) → example ~40 s (拿我自己来说…… / 比如……) → conclusion ~15 s (总之 / 总而言之 + restate the thesis).
  • In the 10 preparation minutes write only a keyword outline per question (five lines: 观点 – 理由1 – 理由2 – 例子 – 总结), not a full script; in the exam you glance at the outline rather than reading out text.
  • Recognise the question type to pick your line: “你同意吗” → 同意 / 不同意 / 不完全同意; “有人说A，也有人说B” → pick a side or ‘both, depending on…’; “怎样解决” → one solution per paragraph; “A好还是B好” → a conditional answer is fine (年轻时……，以后……).
  • Keep 2–3 all-purpose examples ready: learning Chinese, a part-time job or internship at a Chinese company, a trip. One concrete example (when, where, outcome) fills 40 seconds naturally.
  • Use advanced patterns you control: 不是……而是……, 与其……不如……, 一方面……另一方面……, 只有……才……, 关键在于……, 当然……但是…… (concession). Two or three used correctly beat six forced ones.
  • If you run out before 2.5 minutes, add a concession (当然，也有人认为……) or a concrete suggestion, then conclude; don't repeat earlier points.

  • Opening vaguely (这个问题很难说……) without a position; the examiner needs your thesis in the first one or two sentences.
  • Listing points with no example: the answer sounds hollow and often lasts only 60–70 seconds. Explain each reason in 1–2 sentences and include at least one concrete example.
  • Vietnamese word order: time and place after the verb (“我工作在北宁” → 我在北宁工作; “我学汉语两年” → 我学了两年汉语). Sino-Vietnamese false friends: 经济 is ‘economy’, not ‘thrifty’ (that is 节约 / 省钱); 爱人 means spouse.
  • Reciting a memorised essay: the delivery sounds read, you freeze if you forget a line, and the content drifts off the question. Practise speaking from an outline.

The question asks for your opinion on part-time work at university, so the first sentence must answer directly, yes or no, with a condition (但是不能影响学习). The body has two reasons with clear connectors (第一/第二 or 首先/其次), each explained in 2–3 sentences. A personal example (waiting tables at a Chinese restaurant) makes the answer concrete and believable, and fills time naturally. 当然……如果…… shows you see both sides, which examiners reward. Conclude with 总之 and restate the thesis with 利大于弊 (more good than harm). The excellent answer is longer because it adds a concrete suggestion (每周不要超过十五个小时), not because it repeats itself.

This is the two-opposing-views type, very common at the advanced level. The model takes the line ‘the internet is just a tool’, then uses 首先 / 但是另一方面 to argue both sides in turn. Each side has an example: video-calling parents in Hanoi while studying in Beijing (positive), a family all staring at phones at dinner (negative). The closing 不应该责怪网络，而应该学会控制使用的时间 offers a solution, giving the answer a clear end point. Say 一点儿也不觉得 (yìdiǎnr yě bù juéde) with correct sandhi. The good answer manages with 一方面……另一方面……; the excellent one adds advanced words such as 取决于, 缩短 and 责怪.
