Tips
Questions 26–27: two personal questions (family, hobbies, habits, study, work…) printed on the paper. You get 7 minutes to prepare, then speak for about 1.5 minutes on each, at least five sentences. The two items are worth about 40 of 100 points — the heaviest part of HSKK Beginner.
- Split the 7 minutes of preparation between the two questions (about 3 minutes each, 1 minute to review). Don't write the whole answer: note keywords following your structure plus 2–3 sentences you are sure you can say correctly.
- Three-part structure: open by answering the question directly (我最喜欢秋天。) → body with 2–3 points of 1–2 sentences each, linked by 第一、第二 / 先……然后…… / 还有 → close with a summary or a feeling (所以我最喜欢…… / 我很喜欢……).
- When the task says 为什么, the reasons are the core: say 因为…… in your second sentence and give each reason a concrete detail (a time, a place, a number).
- 1.5 minutes ≈ 8–10 short sentences spoken slowly and clearly. A short correct sentence beats a long wrong one; use safe patterns: 不……也不……, 又……又……, 一边……一边……, ……的时候.
- Build a stock of sentences for common topics (yourself, family, your day, hobbies, your city, school / company): many lines work for several topics, e.g. 我在一家中国公司工作、我家在河内.
- If you run out of ideas with time left, add an example (去年……), a comparison (比……) or a plan (我打算…… / 我希望……) instead of falling silent.
