Questions 31–50: long talks (stories, popular-science lectures, social commentary), 3–4 questions each with four options. Played once. Questions favour inference, main idea and the speaker's attitude.

コツ
- Read all of a talk's options in advance to predict the topic and details; questions follow the order of the talk.
- Follow the turns: 然而, 不过, 事实上, 恰恰相反, 没想到 — what comes next is usually tested.
- Main-idea or lesson questions (这段话主要想告诉我们…, 说话人的观点是…) rest on the last sentence; choose the most general option that is still true.
- Science talks give figures and findings (研究表明, 数据显示): note each number with its noun.
- Inference questions (由此可以知道…) want what follows directly from the talk, not what needs an extra assumption.
よくある落とし穴
- Choosing a true detail for a main-idea question.
- Confusing a quoted view with the speaker's own: 传统观点认为… is often rejected immediately afterwards.
- Losing focus by the second or third talk: the HSK 6 listening section lasts about 35 minutes, so practise full sections to build stamina.
